Theory on Evolution: James’ 2003 Evo

Okay, maybe this isn’t Darwin’s Theory on Evolution, but today we bring you Jame’s 2003 Mitsubishi Evolution.

Evos are known for their outstanding performance and handling ability and are also rated as one of the top performing cars for under $50k. James puts this Evo’s name to the test at many local Solo-X events around Iowa.

James had his car tuned by Devin at Boostin’ Performance in Illinois. The car has launch control, is currently tuned for flat-foot shifting and puts down 288HP/265TQ at 23PSI. James also has an appointment to be re-tuned this spring with his new parts!

Now what would a feature be without a mod list?!

I like Evo's just as much as any other car enthusiast and always look forward to MWE's next installment, but this one was disappointing. I think you may have found other feature worthy Evo's that are involved in the midwest auto-x scene and better modded to do so. Also, I will say the mod list on this car is pretty hodge-podged together and has no intended theme or purpose. I love Evo's and always have, but just don't think this car was worth highlighting. Thanks for allowing me to voice my opinion
